CONFERENCES AND FESTIVALS
I can provide a bookstall for author talks at any type of venue. I will obtain copies of the author's work from their publisher, arrive at the venue with the books and other necessary equipment, and take care of the book sales. With good local contacts, I can even help with finding a suitable venue. At the end of the day, we upload a report to BookScan - so every sale counts!
I can provide a pop-up bookshop stocked with a range of books specifically suited to your conference or festival. I will staff the bookshop for the duration of the event, handling sales and any author book-signings, calling on extra staff if needed.

I can provide books for an author talk, or even pitch for an author on your behalf. I can provide a pop-up bookshop with a good range of books for all age ranges. I also take account orders for schools, offer a good discount, and will swiftly deliver the books .
I have previously organised events for the following authors: Nigella Lawson, David Mitchell, Kate Atkinson, Max Hastings, Bernard Cornwell, Matt Haig, Jacqueline Wilson, Rick Stein, Alexander McCall Smith, Jasper Fforde, Jodi Picoult, Jo Nesbo, Sarah Waters, Anthony Hororwitz, Rob Brydon, Ali Smith, Terry Deary, Patrick Ness, Michael Morpurgo, Elizabeth Strout and John Boyne, plus many more.
Festivals I have provided pop-up bookshops for: BBC History Weekend, York Festival of Ideas, NAWE, York Festival of Writing, Big Malarkey Children's Festival, Ryedale Book Festival, Hull Noir, Hull City of Culture, and Malton Food & Drink Festival.
I have also provided bookstalls for numerous venues across Yorkshire including: York Explore libraries, York Grand Opera House, York Theatre Royal, York Barbican, Selby Town Hall, Hull City Hall, the University of York, York Racecourse, Otley Courthouse, City Screen York, the University of Hull and many others.
